Ordering and artwork

How many ready-to-press prints do I need to buy?

The minimum is six prints of each design. You can order any quantity from six upward, such as 7 or 10. This minimum does not apply to custom gang sheets.

Can I put different designs and sizes on one gang sheet?

Yes. A gang sheet can contain multiple designs and sizes within the sheet dimensions you select. Check the layout carefully before submitting your artwork.

How do I order a gang sheet?

Open the DTF Transfers section, choose the gang sheet product or builder, set the size, add your artwork, and review the preview and price before checkout. For hard surfaces, use the UV DTF Transfers section.

What artwork should I upload?

Use the file formats accepted on the product page. A transparent, high-resolution PNG at the final print size is a good choice for many DTF orders. Remove unwanted backgrounds and stray pixels. If you are unsure whether your file will print well, contact us before ordering.

Can you resize or edit my design?

Include the requested dimensions and any needed changes in your order notes. Contact us if the artwork needs substantial editing; we will confirm what is possible and whether there is an additional charge before proceeding.

What size transfer should I choose?

Measure the printable area of your garment and compare it with the size options on the product page. As a starting point, smaller youth garments often use designs around 8 inches wide, women's styles around 9 inches, and adult shirts around 11 inches. Garment style and the design shape can change the best size.

Are ready-to-press designs the same as custom gang sheets?

No. Ready-to-press designs are individual designs selected from our catalog, with a minimum of six of each design. A custom gang sheet is a sheet you arrange with your own artwork.

Production, pickup, and shipping

When will my order be ready?

Orders placed by 12:00 PM ET are ready for pickup or shipping the next business day. We will confirm the pickup time. We do our best to finish sooner, and some orders may be ready the same day, but same-day service is not guaranteed.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes. Choose pickup when available at checkout. Pickup is at Paramus Park Mall, 700 Paramus Park, Paramus, NJ 07652, inside Custom T's. Please wait for our confirmation of the pickup time before coming. For pickup questions, call 201-750-5183.

When will a shipped order arrive?

Our ready date is when the order is prepared for shipping, not a guaranteed delivery date. Delivery time depends on the carrier and service selected at checkout. Contact us with your order number if you need help with a shipment.

How do I track an order?

Check your order confirmation or shipping email for any available tracking link. If you cannot find an update, contact us with your order number.

Can I change or cancel an order?

Contact us as soon as possible with your order number. We will check the order's status and let you know which changes are still possible. See the refund policy for the current terms.

Applying DTF transfers

How do I apply a DTF transfer to a garment?

1. Use a heat press that provides even heat and pressure. Start with a clean, dry garment and briefly pre-press it to remove moisture and wrinkles.
2. Position the transfer with the printed design against the fabric.
3. Press using the temperature, time, and pressure instructions supplied with your transfer. Settings vary by film and fabric, so test one piece before a large run.
4. Peel at the temperature specified for that film: hot, warm, or cold. If an edge lifts, stop and press again before removing the film.
5. Use a protective sheet for a short finishing press if the transfer instructions recommend it.

Can I use an iron instead of a heat press?

A heat press is recommended because it provides more even heat and pressure. If you use another method, test a single piece first; results may vary.

How should I care for a garment after pressing?

Follow the garment label and the instructions supplied with the transfer. Let the application cure before washing, wash gently with the garment turned inside out, and avoid ironing directly on the design.

Is UV DTF applied the same way?

No. UV DTF is designed for suitable hard surfaces and is applied without a garment heat press. Clean and dry the surface, position the transfer, press it firmly, and peel the carrier according to the product instructions.

What if an order is missing items, damaged, or printed incorrectly?

Use our Order Issue Form. Include the order number, the email address used at checkout, a description, and a clear photo. You can also call 201-750-5183 or email OceanDTFprint@gmail.com.

Where can I read the refund policy?

Read Ocean DTF's Refund Policy for eligibility and instructions. We review reported defects or damage using the details and photos you provide.

How do I request a sales tax exemption?

Use the Tax Exemption Application to upload your completed certificate, or email it to OceanDTFprint@gmail.com. Tax exemption becomes active only after we review and approve the request.

Do you offer pricing for resellers?

Contact us with your business details and estimated order volume. We can discuss an individual price arrangement.

How can I pay for an order?

The available payment methods are shown at checkout. If you need to change payment details after placing an order, contact us promptly with your order number.
